I believe this is from an old episode of The Future Flavas show that used to air on Hot 97. The program used to be hosted by Marley Marl & Pete Rock. I wish I could tell you more. Hopefully someone knows the origin of this

And yes that is the same sample used in "What If".

As far as I could gather info about this, it was played by Tim Westwood on his show back in '93.Whether it was an exclusive remix given to him to play or it was made by some of his people is unknown to me
