most isps have a usenet service, albeit with a 30 day retention or so so you can get it for free

some news providers keep no logs and offer free ssl encryption. so if you're using one of these, you setup the ssl encryption in your client and its pretty much impossible to get caught, unlike torrents

it'll also cost you about $10/month at the most, which is fuck all $

if you dont think $10/month is worth staying free i can't help you

$10 a month is a pretty good deal. and I believe usenet service provider's retention last more than 30 days unlike most isps.
I have AT&T and their usenet service is crappy so I dont use usenet as much as I used to.

i have time warner and they have discontinued free newsgroup access. i already know about usenet so don't waste your time explaining it to me. bottom line is that i don't need to spend $10 on something i can get for free. i have yet to get a letter from any of my isps for torrent downloading and i've been using them for years.
