only track i'd listened to before this was kinda like a big deal

this would definitely be in my top 3 albums for the whole year, it is really fucking dope. even cam's verse on popular demand is good. can't wait to rip myself a lossless copy.

Don't see the hype around Kobe. However Khalils beats are  8) As someone said I'm struggling to find an artist or group that have put out 3 albums as good as the Clipse's this decade! Sean C & LV killed their beats to.

One thing I'd say is that some of the hooks are a little weak in comparison to their past albums. I'll post a proper review when I've copped the album.

Good album, but nowhere near "album of the year" contender.
Neptunes beats sound too repetitive, and Camron, Pharrell & Kanye all made annoying cameos.. and while we're at it, I've heard Khalil better than on the 3 beats he did here.

i pretty much agree. the neptunes production really didn't do much for me and that's the bulk of the album. 'Counseling' is dope though, more of an old school neptunes sound. the khalil tracks are all good and extremely layered, but kinda like a big deal really stands out as the best track.

I always liked Pharrell on the hooks, very smooth and catchy (That new CL slide, outside of Popeyes, eatin’ chicken and fries). Kanye killed his verse but Camron really sucked.

Other than that Neptunes did a great job imo: Popular Demand, Showing Out, Doorman and Eyes On Me are all crazy imo. Then you have Counseling and Life Change that are cool. They went with a specific vibe for Khalil, nothing to omg! worthy but sort of laid back bangers.

Khalil proved his diversity with his project.  He made some laid back bangers not on some sci-fi shit.   Kind of reminds me of some of his production for self-scientific but better

Really dying to hear this but not sure I wanna ruin the listening experience with a non group rip. I'll be picking up on the 8th regardless. Clipse is one my favorite duos ever  8)

We all KNOW that Khalil has some deadly beats with Kobe on the hook in the vault, as heard from those "Making of" videos

If you haven't heard this yet do yourself a favor and wait for a non-web rip because it's shitty .... but damn it's really that dope a web rib don't bother me.  Such solid production.  Great atmosphere.  Second album within two months that has had really solid atmosphere (50's bisd than this).
