he did something "illegal", admitted it, but wasn't "carded" or whatever you people call it, so he has to pay the price?

that's the stupidest thing i've ever heard!

how do you "punish" a player on a call that wasn't made; it's not his fault.

note: i say "punish" because it's said that tomorrow they "might" punish him & if they do, it isn't certain what they will do; so i can't say the punishment will be severe or not.

but regardless, no way around it; he cannot get in trouble for playing the game.

i doubt they will though if they do itll just make uefa look like theyve got a 'guilty conscience'...some have said the refs have leaned towards the bigger sides and suggest uefa had advised them to do so...and no punishment is going to make any of the irish any happier...there not going to the world cup

i think their trying to appeal for an extra spot or some shit tbh they just need to take it on the chin whats done is done

i guess, it's just the way the ball rolls; but i mean this shit is like beyond important & it's not right you have to sit out because you got cheated.

i say they just do a rematch or at least force FIFA to make use of the hundred or so cameras in the stadium & use instant replay to challange a call or in this case, a no call.
