I'm going to say it's his debut solo. After all, it's original production, it's a full-length album, and it's not a free download. So unless he drops something else before then that meets those criteria, I'm going to say that it's his debut solo. I know there are some who probably won't see it that way, particularly if it ends up only being a pay download. But I think it meets enough of the criteria for an album to be considered one. After all, it's definitely not a mixtape, and it's not an e.p. this time. The thing is, with Crooked, you never know if or when this project will be released. So even though I would consider it his debut solo, it still needs to come out first before it can be counted as anything. But I think a lot of projects meet that critertia but aren't neccearily considered official albums. I mean, Bishop Lamont has dropped a gang of mixtapes with all new material written over original production. So have Saigon, Spider Loc, and many others. I would especially say no if it's just a digital release.

I would guess mixtape. His EP hasn't secured enough to put out "videos" to a a media outlet which would reach a reasonably sized audience, so I doubt there's a big budget waiting for him for the LP of the same nature as his EP. He'll drop this as an MP3 downloadable album only, and then excuse it's lack of predicted sales down to a "it was promotion for a slaughterhouse 2" project cover, where the responsibility of that failure is then down to 3 other men if that doesn't reach expected sales numbers. Crooked I just needs to put out albums to retain a frustrated fan base. He's starting to remind me of the likes of a Suge Knight or a Dr Dre - scared to put out anything which wont go platinum or at least gold, but Crooked I doesn't exactly have a decorative legacy of platinum success of Dr Dre or Suge Knight so there's no excuse
Johnny, you forgot one other term...Street album. LOLWe'll see what happens, but I totally hear where you are coming from.

He needs to give up on that pipe dream. There's indie dudes dropping albums that don't sell all the time, and maybe they don't see the record sales, but putting out quality albums adds to their reputation and it gains them a bigger fan base. Crooked needs to follow suit.
