What a classic fight! Too bad one judge scored the fight by giving only one round to Sergio Martinez lol WTF seriously what an idiot. They gotta fight again, and this time for a belt.

I thought Sergio won, but I can see why the judge scored it 115-113 for Paul.
You basically had an aggressive fighter with non stop action vs a countering fighter that was connecting some really solid shots. The numbers showed this as well, Paul was a bit more accurate and landed a few more punches but this had to be done since he was the aggressor.

my scorecard
1st round 9-9 Draw: Both had clean knockdowns
2nd round 10-9 Martinez: Landed more clean body shots and counters. Didnt allow Williams to land
3rd round 10-9 Martinez: His style reminds me of Joe Calzaghe's style. but still barely won that round
4th round 9-10 Williams: He hurt him the final seconds of the round and won the first minuite with a good jab and follow up rights
5th round 9-10 Williams: Won the exchanges more punches landed
6th round 9-10 Williams: Barely won that round.
7th round 10-9 Martinez: He kinda had Williams running and backing off. Thats an aumomatic win in my round it was a hard one to score.
8th round 9-10 Martinez: Worked the job and body better.
9th round 10-9 Martinez: Better counters and won the exchanges.
10th round 10-9 Martinez: Sergio is a great counter puncher.
11th round 10-9 Martinez: Very hard round to score but after the 2nd half Sergio clearly won every exchange.
12th round 9-10 Williams: Another tough round to score. Williams more precise.
7 rounds to 4
114-113
Martinez
if thats not right then it was a draw...
if your a boxing fan you must watch this fight it was everything that makes boxing the best sport.
