Tim Donaghy talks about fixed games.
« on: December 08, 2009, 12:17:30 PM »
i watched that interview.

he recalled a story that he called a traveling on MJ & MJ asked, "what was that?". Donaghy said, "the NBA wants that the be a traveling violation".

Jordan replied, "maybe they want that call made, but not on me"; he approached Phil Jackson & Phil said the exact same thing to Tim, "maybe they want that call made, but not on me".

he also said, Dick Bavetta was called in by the "higher ups" to ref Game Six of the LA/Sacramento playoff game & fixed it to put the Lakers on the line.

shows the Lakers cheated & the NBA has been fixed since the Jordan ERA & that the NBA is a terrible sport.

People always make me laugh about that Sac Lakers shit ... Actually Kings missed a ton of FTs in Game 7 ( only shot like 50%) , Peja airbailled a wide open 3 for the win .... Kings lost that series because they choked in key moments ( money time of Game 4 aswell) not because of a fixed game .. and even as a Lakers fan , I have said many times that the Kings were the better team

^Game Six forced the game seven, without the refs help, they wouldn't have won game Game Six & Peja wouldn't have missed that 3 in a game that shouldn't have even went down.

it's like, "yeah, we got help the game before, but they lost the fair Game Seven that shouldn't of happened, so we still deserved to win". :D

i didn't hear anything about that, i only mention the Lakers because Tim talked about that series specifically.

but i wouldn't be surprised at all.

it was going on until he got busted.

Game six of Lakers - Kings was definitely fixed, as were at least a couple games of the 2006 finals. No doubt. I hope he starts to reveal phone calls or something, that would be the shit.
Cause I don't care where I belong no more
What we share or not I will ignore
And I won't waste my time fitting in
Cause I don't think contrast is a sin
No, it's not a sin

the Suns/Spurs series was fixed too (not my opinion, i remember him talking about it).

i forget the year, but the year that they knocked Nash on his ass & Amare got suspended a game.
