lol at modern day slavery, there is no money in the prision system, infact its one of the reasons (besides water) that we're in a such a huge debt.


the whole issue about slavery was based on economics and busniess, the whole "abolish slavery" movement was obviously supported by the union but the whole moral was just a bonus.


slavery wasnt abolished to "free the slaves", it was to get poor white free men jobs that all the slaves held.



how is it modern day slavery when there is no profit? thats not slavery, its just a bunch of criminals that we have to take care of  by paying our taxes.

obviously your a square, and you know nothing of the prison system
