If you can choose between being a pro basketballer, a pro baseballer and a pro soccer player, would anyone in his right mind choose golf?
How can golf generate so much money anyways? Do people seriously watch it? Many Americans watch baseball and nfl, almost every european watches soccer, the whole world knows the nba, but what about golf? ive never heard of anyone who likes it.

Yeah, but you're making it seem that anyone can be good at golf. If there is a kid that is aspiring to become a pro baller in any of the top sports you mentioned, but fails at it then what is stopping him from picking up the golf club and handle golf if it's so easy?

Money is also an issue. You can come from a poor family and still ball. Not the case for golf, it's a snob sport for rich people, which also knocks its image. A cool black dude from the hood ain't never gonna pick up a club, he's gonna keep shooting them 3s with his rotten basketball even if he misses all of them.
I have a friend who naturally sucks at sports, like, really unathletic. He plays golf. I don't know if he is decent, but at least as good to be allowed to play. Cause you have to be on some level to play on golf courts here. Anyways, he does it because his parents are quite wealthy and the guys he plays with are on some private school shit.
