NOAH JONES- THE INCINERATOR

I2G has been promoting Noah Jones heavy since the word got out about him dropping his album, The Incinerator. Well the album is now out and if for some odd reason you have not copped it yet, don't worry, I2G got yall with this in depth review.

01) Intro (prod. VTZ)

02) The Pugilist ft. Crooked I (prod. DJ Nice & DJ Simon Sez): This is a lyricist fan's dream right here. Great beat and Crooked and Noah go in on this beat. Kind of has a cypher feel to it. Tracks like this let me know hip hop is in good hands.

03) ‘Til I Come Up (prod. Metro Beats): Metro Beats behind the boards and Noah talks about coming up in the game. Nice hustlers anthem.

04) Who’s Crying Now (prod. Kajmir Royale): Nice vocal sample. Great storytelling track about the bad decisions people make. Spitting some knowledge on this one.

05) Crack of Dawn ft. Knoc-turn’al (prod. Kajmir Royale): This is a club banger right chea. Knocturnal is a underrated hook singer. Does his thing once again on this and drops some nice lines as well. Noah keeps the verbals sharp on this as well.

06) This What We Do (prod. J Keys): Noah kicking the rapid flow on this. Beat has a little bit of that battle of the bands feel to it. Cool track.

07) I Stay ft. Tone P (prod. C Ballin): Hook is a lil ehh but the beat is nice.  No matter what the subject matter is, Noah is lyrically inclined to keep it nice. Dope punchlines and flow seemless from verse to verse.

08) Gee Shit ft. Marcus Davis (prod. Focus): Focus on the beat and as always with him, the beat is on point. Nice, gutter street track.

09) All Goes Down ft. Rain (prod. Rain): This beat is on some other shit. Wow very sinister sounding. Rain and Noah absolutely MURDER this track. Many quotables on this one.

10) It’s Me (prod. Khoazy Nguyen): This beat has a old school west coast feel to it. Another verbal marathon on this by Noah.

11) So Fresh (prod. The Big Shots): Beat is a lil ehh on this. Not bad.

12) We Don’t Need Them ft. Sly Boogy (prod. Andrew Lloyd): One of my favs from this album. Sly and Noah go in on this, lyricism at its best.

13) The Minority Song (prod. Quest of the ToyBox Crew): Another great beat, this time by Quest of Toxbox and the storytelling on this is really the highlight of this song.

14) Part Of My Life (prod. Bumbo of the ToyBox Crew): Man we go from one great storytelling track to another. This shows Noah's ability to cover a wide range of subject matter on this album.

15) I Get It ft. Glasses Malone (prod. Metro Beats): Nice beat and Noah trades bars with Glasses on this one. Knocks in a system.

16) Streets Keep Starving ft. Nipsey Hussle (prod. The Big Shots): Another killer beat, almost Dre ish. Man Noah and Nip go in on this one. You cannot say the west does not have rhyme slayers up and coming after listening to this.

17) The Recession (prod. Jimi Kendrix): Definitely a strong point on this album is the production. Very thematic and gives Noah a landscape to verbally go in on the tracks. This one is no different.

18) What U Gonna Do ft. Jay Rock (prod. Kajmir Royale): Great beat and Jay Rock's verse is crazy. Noah more then holds his own with every guest on this album. They compliment him instead of outshining.

19) Outro (prod. Brainiac Beats)

Overall this album is a lyricist's fans dream. But it is not oversaturated with bars upon bars. Subject matter is varied and Noah shows he can make club bangers, conceptual tracks or street anthems. The guests are big names, but after hearing Noah go in with some of of the best in the west, you quickly hear that he more than holds his own. do yourself a favor and pick this album up ASAP.
