im not really getting the concept of this procedure...
why would any1 that values his/her own work post original beats in good quality on that forum?
its a situation that none of both parties will benefit from, its rather the opposite, isnt it?

if i was a producer,
id rather post less promising beats there, because:
a): what about royalties? or an exclusive use agreement, but then:
b) everybody with access to forum would have the beat as well, and if its hot, me as a MC, id download the beat, and use it on my mixtape, therefore its not exclusive to XO anymore... so paying for it doesnt make sense...

i think the original idea was anyway to get dope exclusive beats, right?
i like the idea though that the fans can choose, lets say, the sound of the mixtape..
so why not collecting samples of instrumentals, like 20-30 sec? and then you can still post them, or participants can do it, and it'd be still listenable as well...

i dont wanna ruin anyones party here, but after all this seem a bit unprofesisional to me...
and i thought scipio was already in another league.. i loved the mixtape he did with dae one!
