i like MC eiht - but he's one of those artists dat i can't take too much of. listenin to a whole MC Eiht-album is like tryin to listen to a full Too $hort or full M.O.P.-album - it just doesn't work, becasue ur brain is meltin while doin it.. they r all good artits, but u can only listen to their shit in small doses

We come strapped was a very good one..I guess when you rub elbows with the niggas who live that lifestyle..you can tend to sponge their persona and ways..even their convo..Now that he has been alienated since 2004..He has really fell off.. Not hang9ing wit da real niggas in the trenches..He cant handle being scared at all times...He Hasnt even really signed to a real label long..A pure waste of good earned money...

His music aint been the same since 2004..No real music cuz the real niggas aint present around for him to copy cat !!!!!!

I been a big fan of Eiht's ever since CMW first came out (I still got their One Time Gaffled 'Em Up blue cassette single off of their It's A Compton Thang album) so I can't really talk about one without the other. Growin' Up in the Hood from the Boyz N Da Hood soundtrack and CMW's Straight Check'n 'Em album is a favorite of mine. Music To Drive By was dope too, Hood Took Me Under and N 2 Deep are a couple tracks that come to mind. We Come Strapped is my favorite of MC Eiht's solo albums (a classic for me from beginning to end) but a few others that are at the top of my list are Death Threatz and Section 8. His colabo albums with Spice 1 and Brotha Lynch had some bangers on 'em too. His newer albums have some good song on 'em too but his old classics are my favorites. Here's a few others Streiht Up Menace from the Menace II Society soundtrack (nah for reals ;D) and One Less Nigga off of the Tales From The Hood soundtrack. CMW's / MC Eiht's When We Wuz Bangin' greatest hits album that came out like 10 years ago could have been a double disc (imho) for all the heat that they put out, they left out a lot; where the f#@k was Thuggin It Up at?.
