he's a choke artist.

If this was an Indy game and the FGs were missed and Peyton through two INTs and only got 14 points everyone would be saying Peyton chokes again. You guys wanted to include the over-rated Rivers into the MVP discussion, so you better get on him like you do real MVPs. Now we need a new commercial with Peyton and Al Bundy and Peyton bragging about his 4 MVPs in one decade.

alright fine, Rivers choked; so all those other MVP seasons Manning lost in the Playoffs were chokes too. ;D
if losing in the Playoffs shows he is unworthy of the MVP award, i guess Tom Brady deserves two more. :D

Not losing; playing like your average. Rivers wasn't any worse tonight than he was all year. He just had to play against a defensive that showed up, like Baltimore, Pit, and Denver did this season. Manning never choked any of his MVP years. Every loss in any of the MVP years the Colts D played a lot worse than the Colts offense did in the losses; letting teams run right through them all day. The Jets had one big play on offense all day and a bunch of 3 and outs. Then one FG drive and one TD that came because of a River's TD. This was a game that was neck and neck all day and River's played like the QB he is; average. An above average performance could have made the difference. And that sack fumble that was a perfect example of the difference between Manning and Rivers when it comes to the number of sacks all year.

^they flashed a statistic earlier this season, while comparing Tom & Peyton in the post-season.
Manning has like seventeen career post-season INTs; that's pretty awful for the "GOAT".

I don't watch stats. I watch people play. An INT thrown to your guy on the numbers tipped by his own hands and caught by a defender is not the same as hastily throwing the ball under pressure into coverage, but the stats say the same thing.

:40 - fumble; blown assignment by the "legendary line" of the Pats; even Mr. God himself is fumbling that ball; unless i hear this "he would have thrown it, argument". ::)
1:08 - 1st interception; pretty terrible thrown, no denying that; but even GOAT those one of those everyone know & then;

1:40 - 2nd interception; one the money throw right there; Sam Aiken had both hands on it & bobbled it; that's one of your "it can be a tipped pass, etc, etc.".
2:30 - i thought Tom couldn't throw on the run, feelin' the heat. ;D
2:55 - 3rd interception; that was right there; but the guy got blasted; but my point is, that's another tip.
so you go on in other threads saying how he's overrated and stuff, when he threw really one legit INT & the fumble goes to the line easily, they were on him in less than 2 seconds.
SO, Peyton Mannings 2004 MVP GODLY SEASON, in the playoffs, against YOUR BOY, 35.5 passer rating & picked him off four times.

the last 10 seconds just makes the video.
Marvin the great, just 3 receptions for 29 yards & Ty Law with 3 picks; great stats.
so, how is Rivers & Brady overrated for one botch of the Playoff game? ;D
