Cavs beat Lakers again...
« on: January 21, 2010, 08:25:44 PM »
Since LBJ has came  into the league, he has had the upper hand (head to head) against Kobe aside from last year.  This year though, the Cavs are two for two, even with no Mo Williams today.

Nice game to watch, Kobe had it really going in the first, but shot a horrible 4-15 in the second.  People say its his finger, but then why does he keep shooting so many shots?  12-31 today, 4 assists, 2 boards, and only one made hoop in the 4th

Lebron?  7 str8 points in the 4th after it was 80-80, 13-25 for the game (1-9 on three's though:-[  he has actually been good from there this year), 9 assists, 5 boards

I STILL think the Lakers are a better team, but would love to see a 7 game series between these two teams...would be a classic

the energy/motivation level is not there for the Lakers ...  reminds me of the Kobe/Shaq era when the team was fed up with regular season very fast ... letting Lebron hitting 5 shots in a row from the same spot without any D adjustment was ridiculous ... I dont see Cavs as a threat for us , Celtics at full strenght ( will they ever be in shape though ) is a better team

By the way , Lebron (which is an amazing player) is on his way the biggest douche in NBA history ...

that was and always be the pb with Kobe ... when he's hot obviously he gonna keep shooting and when he's bricking he gonna keep shooting to try to get out of the funk ... Don't mind it TODAY ( it's usually getting on my nerves when he does this) as nobody else show up ... Gasol was in Gasoft mode again and Bynum obviously does not care too much about B-Ball ...

Its a catch 22 really...Kobe shoots too much, his teammates aren't involved.  If they don't get involved, he shoots too much.

This game really personified the Kobe debate- when he is on, he is the best player there is and his bball IQ seems through the roof. When he is off, he seems to lack bball IQ and just keep shooting instead of doing other things to help his team.

I don't know-  one night Kobe amazes me, the next he makes me wonder.  Kobe's highs are higher then Lebron's, but LBJ consistently does his thing (even if its nowhere near as nice to watch).

Either way, I hope its Cavs-Lakers in the finals (Boston might have something to say about that though!

cavs got no chance

If Boston is healthy and SHeed plays well, it'll be tough.  I still think CLE has a trade up there sleeve though.

To say the Cavs have no chance is a bit laughable though

even though orlando is lil iffy right now, i find it hard for the cavs to beat the fully healthy celtics or magic.

that last game was lost because of gasol, missed those 2 last layups when he should of dunked it and gotten the fouls, and missed those freethrows

way to go gasol.

Kobe shouldn't shoot so much right now- make Gasol more of a focus so that when the 4th comes, he is confident...having Kobe shoot 30 shots a game with a bad back and finger is gonna kill this team.
