Not sure he's the best in the world, but when people talk about Liverpool only having Torres and Gerrard as world class players, they forget that Reina is also a world class goalkeeper.

It's a shame he's got Casillas ahead of him.

--- Quote from: 13th Duke on January 27, 2010, 05:43:09 AM ---Shay Given pisses all over most keepers. Cesar and Casillas are the only two I'd put ahead of him.

--- End quote ---

Trappatoni rates him 2nd only to Buffon.

--- End quote ---

Julio Cesar is even better than Buffon right now (imo, even last year). And not because he plays for my team, c'mon how can y'all not recognize his number 1 position ?

--- End quote ---

No doubt he's world class, but when it comes to Brazilians people tend to forget about their goalkeepers ;D

--- End quote ---

These are the top 5 for me "now":

1)Julio Cesar
2)Casillas
3)Buffon
4)Given
5)Reina

Those are the top 5 in the world, although people will debate on the order. Also, Petr Cech is at least equal to Reina imo.
