Are people really  speakin negative about  Dre's  recent production  ?          I dont know how anyone can doubt the man's work.

He is the Michael Jordan of   hiphop.        Sometimes   Jordan  has a bad game  (especially since he came back from retirement lol)   ,  but you dont ever doubt the legend.      I can already say   that  DETOX will be the greatest rap album  EVER.         That should be   common knowledge.

Amen, i'm speechless  :o

Thanks for dropping in Mellowman, have a good christmas, looking forward to hearing from you in the new yr. Let Dre know that his real fans are 100% behind him every step of the way.

I think that if you take one of the 'O's' out of 'Good' it's 'God', if you add a 'D' to 'Evil' it's the 'Devil'. I think some cool motherfucker sat down a long time ago and said 'let's figure out a way to control motherfuckers'.

It makes sense for Dre to go back sort of to his "roots," since he is recording his last sol0 album.  It only makes sense to come back full circle.  Thanks.

Cool post BUT i completly DISAGREE about there being no westcoast without DRE.

There are so many tight westcoast artists doing there thing and releasing AMAZING material. Sure ppl like Ras/Alkoholiks/Defari/DJ Quik etc may not be selling at all but they are releasing good quality music.

So as far as im concerned there doing there thing for the west and keeping it alive.

It's great to see Mel Man come here and let us kno wwhat's happening. Personally I never doubted Dre in anyway although I know a lot of cats have a real short term memory. Dre is a true legend and I LIKE all the new beats he's done lately. Peace to Mel Man, Dre and Aftermath Records and everyone that's down with them.

I wouldn't say I "Doubt" dre or anything, my deal is I just wonder why he does anything if it isn't up to his standards.  Some of the recent stuff really didn't move me very much, and yes, you're right, i've always said it's still better than the other stuff on the westcoast.

Also, why are you complimenting Talib and the Roots for making positive music?  I compliment them too! I totally agree with that, but it sounds a little hypocritical coming out of Dre's camp, when he's the one that turned hiphop negative, and I'd even say he single handedly did it.  If you're gonna point the finger at one person for making hiphop about violence and bitches, it's Dr. Dre. I realize you don't speak for Dre though it's just your opinions, and I agree with you.

Peace, thanks for the info~

He doesn't do that anymore.  Back in his Row days he did, but now he is rapping about staying on top of the game, proving haters wrong, producing hits...not shooting anyone and shit like he use to.
