What leadership qualities does Lampard have? Not many as far as I can see. I wouldnt want a player who can't even perform in an England shirt to get the captaincy.
I'd like Rooney in the future but he's not mature enough to captain a side. In all honesty I'd prefer Beckham to be the captain but the guy doesn't play enough games to hold down a regular spot.

i've heard that he might "removed" from being the captain of england ;D
I can see Lampard,Ferdinand or Gerrard as captains....Ferdinand should be the first choice of capello

Ferdinand? I'm guessing you're not particularly clued up about English football as a whole then mate..or at least you don't read the English newspapers. Rio Ferdinand's track record is as bad as Terry's.

I'm clued about english football don't worry,i remember that ferdinand was one of the names mentioned along terry when capello had to choose the new captain (at least,
according to the newspapers)

fair enough, I personally think it would be hypocritical and a bit silly to take the captaincy of Terry for his bad behaviour only to give it to Rio Ferdinand who has been just as bad and arguably worse.
