God those are some bad best pictures. What a terrible year for film. Haven't seen An Education or Up in the Air  so I won't comment, but of the rest, Serious Man is the only one worth a nomination.

yeah i wouldnt mind.. and i hope W.Harrelson will get the oscar. Great performance in The Messenger however im pretty sure the guy from Inglourious Basterds will win.

especially when the 10 movies aren't even that great.

i loved The Hurt Locker & Inglorious Basterds; but they aren't two of the greatest movies, just real entertaining.

I usually defend these best picture nominations but not this year.  It really has been a bad year for movies.  I'll be rooting for The Hurt Locker and District 9

I mean honestly there was no lead actor in that movie lol. He is just as eligible for best actor as he is for supporting.
