« on: January 17, 2002, 11:05:53 AM »
May 4th will be the battle of Gay ass de la hoya vs Vargas.....of course im goin for Vargas , who do you guys go for???

In their press conference , it seemed that Vargas was choking De La Hoya and later he said "thats all you got, u didnt even wrinkled my tie" after that Vargas replyied by saying "why u crying, why are you eyes gettin watery"

Yo, I've been waiting for this fight forever and I'm glad it's finally gonna happen. It would be even greater if De La Hoya was in his prime, but he's got alot of heart and will put up a good fight. I got my money on Vargas as well since he is younger, stronger and a hell of alot more hungrier than De La Hoya. I want Vargas to beat De La Hoya and go on to fight Bernard Hopkins. That would be a great fight too.

As for De La Hoya, he has had a hell of a great career and one of my favorite fighters but he needs to leave boxing and go back to singing spanish love songs before he ruins his legacy.

Forget De La Hoya, Vargas represents what a real down ass mexican is...unlike De La hoya. Vargas gets down and doesnt run. When oscar runs he says "thats the way i fight" like a lil joto.

De La Hoya is a chicano if u dont know it means that his parents are from mexico and the son or daughter is born in the USA. Oscar is  from East L.A I think, and Vargas is from Oxnard. Its the battle of the chicanos

speaking of Gay ass de la hoya, did anyone get his cd? HA HA HA HA what a joto, singing for the ladies with his gay voice. More like singing to the guys.  I remember his interview on a local spanish ch, here in L.A he was like "so and so fighter , what a man, what a heart"  dont you think thats kinda gay????

In case y'all didn't know, this fight was suppose to happen awhile back but De La Hoya backed out of it. What does that tell you?

And it ain't true that no one wants to fight Suger Shane, its just his dad, and manager, is money hungry and greedy and won't let Mosley fight any big fighters without receiving big dividends. I don't see a problem in that but if he wants the big offers to come his way automatically then he's gonna have to earn a reputation for being a big draw, which he isn't yet.

yah its true his dad (manager) wants him to make big money on fights. n guess wha? he deserves it. n it boxers ARE duckin him right now. he dominated de la hoya...n that was when de la hoya was still looked at in tha top 5 pound for pound. most lists have shane mosley either as the number 1 pound for pound, or number 2....at tha LOWEST. ive been followin him for a lil while now. n hez IMO tha best boxer in tha game right now. skillwise...NO one can touch him. tha closest is Roy Jones. But Roy has faded jussa bit frum what he was. Shane as of right now, has tha HIGHEST KO ratio EVER in boxing. i think hez like 36-0, with 33 KO'z. somethin like that. n if anyone actually thinkz de la hoya, vargas, or trinidad or whoeva is around tha same weight class...could touch him right now, theyre crazee. If shane were to fight any of those 3....he SHOULD be receiving tha larger share of tha royalties. I felt Trinidad was tha best opponent for him, but Trinidad got mopped up against Hopkins, he didnt show SHIT. n de la hoya, well....hez jus garbage. so i guess id like tah see him fight Vargas (assuming Vargas beats De La Hoya).

No doubt, Mosley is one of the best top 5 pound for pound. I really want to see Varga and him fight since both of them don't stay down for no one.
