(AllHipHop News) Former Hot Boy member B.G. has pleaded not guilty to a gun possession charge in a New Orleans court yesterday (February 11).
B.G., born Christopher Dorsey, was arrested in November 2009, when police stopped a Chevy Tahoe for an undisclosed traffic violation.
According to the New Orleans Times-Picayune, a search of the vehicle uncovered three loaded guns and two extended clip.
Additionally, two of three guns had been reported stolen. In addition to B.G., Jerod Fedison, 18, were charged each charged with being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
The third man, Demounde Pollard, was booked on gun and drug charges, but prosecutors dropped the charges. In June of 2009, B.G. was arrested and booked into jail on drug charges and was also arrested in Texas, court records show.
According to court documents, B.G., 29, failed a drug test late last year. Yesterday he was ordered to pay $350 to undergo another drug test next week.
B.G. recently released a video for “Back to the Money feat. Magnolia Chop,” taken from his most recent album, Too Hood 2 Be Hollywood.
B.G. rose to fame with Hot Boys group members Lil Wayne, Juvenile and Turk.
Lil Wayne is slated to be sentenced to a year in prison on March 2 for attempted possession of a weapon, after police found a .40 caliber handgun on his tour bus in New York.
Turk is slated to be released from prison sometime this year, after serving a total of six-years of a 12 year-sentence, for shooting an undercover Memphis, Tennessee S.W.A.T. team member during a raid of a local apartment.
