the thing is, u said:
Since when does internet coverage mean anything?

it does - the e-world is the main marketing-tool for every known recordlabel in 2010 - n have been so since Soullja Boy blew up and changed the mentality of every C.E.O.. and if u wanna debate about internet-coverage not meaning anythin, than ur insane..
are Def Jam and Loud Records still puttin up flyers in ur neighbourhood or what?  :-\

the slaughtahouse thing doesn't prove shit - it's still a yin-yang/50-50 situation as alwyas wit artists, whether it be in the 90's (wit coverage in magazines, radio) or in the new age (wit the internet). Either u make it or u dont.
granted, radio and magazine-ads etc are still useful venues for recordlabels.
but bottomline, the internet is as relevant as relevant can be for a possible outcome of an artists relevancy of his/her career.
if a washed-up nigga is gettin coverage wit youtube/myspace-hits, aol-coverage  etc etc- dat is all extremely postive for him/her.

the popstar-thing might be a bit much to say, but he certainly is generatin buzz right now..

Mac shawn wont even have 10 000 people illegaly downloading his album let alone paying for it.

time will tell, time will tell..

And You Do Kow That is catchy. Some of his lyrics on his verses are kinda elementary, but he made a very catchy song.
