hmmm, whered u get this list jake?? cus i still dont buy it. theres too many cities that dont seem tah be in tha right place. like, st louis being above Baltimore, Gary, n DC?! lol. also west palm beach, n tampa....above compton?! lololol. a few other onez that are unexplainable. oakland at number 28, is crazy...but whats even crazier....i dont see Richmond CA, even on tha list...n Rishmond has a higher crime rate then Oakland does. Also, for san diego....they got El Cajon and Chula Vista on the list, but National City isnt, n National City is BY FAR, WORSE. so i dunno. i aint dissin u jake. tha list jus seem kinda funny to me. cus i was jus lookin this stuff up on a website less then a month ago. oh well

i got it from the opening home page from compuserve, and they got it from the official list from the Federal Bural of Investigations, FBI, compton and all those other cities you mentioned are going down becuase those communities are trying to do something about their high crime rates

A lot of tha bigger cities are also lower b/c of there population,  lets take NYC for example raw numbers wise tha total number of crimes is higher than proberly most other places on there but when u average in tha population of NYC compared to other tha places NYC has a huge population so thus it is considered to have less crime
