Soda tax: What do you think about it?

It's all bull shit. They say it's for our benifit, but at what point is it enough? Anything they don't want us to have, they just tax? That's one step below dictatorship. It's just a new way to steal your money. When will people understand. Taxes = a fancy word for theft.
If you want to stop obesity, start with taxing fast food places, buffets, and people who watch tv.

Exactly. Especially with the TV thing. People watching TV instead of getting up and just moving around an extra 30 minutes more than usual is what's really causing these problems.
We are already gonna be taxed by default when obesity continues to increase. With more obesity, we get more diabetes, cancers, etc. etc. and all these things are gonna drive up the cost of health care for everyone. SO now we gotta get taxed on top of that? Fuck that.
