well...technically we did, cus "dinosaurs" have been around throughout the centuries...they arent ALL 100,000,000 years old. lol But Christianity believes that the world began 1,000's of years ago when we have evidence of life on this planet millions of years ago.

we dont know exactly how old it is....but we know that it completely predates what Christianity believes
