--- Quote from: Overseer on December 03, 2002, 10:40:18 AM ---nice. i've looked quite deeply into 5% stuff myself recently since some issues touch on things i've been interested in... there is some truth... but there is also what i find an horrific anti-white and anti-semetic slant. I can see why NOI have feelings like they're its bastard child. NOI has changed its attitude towards us devils due to political pressure in recent years.
infinite.. on the hiphop front... what muslim rappers do ya listen to?
regularly on my list are Pete Rock and Self Scientific.
I listen to the unreleased Last Emperor album quite a bit and he makes a lot of NOI style references but i'm not sure if he's muslim... check out the track Jungle Cats

Yeah, I love Self-Scientific and Pete Rock. I haven't heard any of the Last Emporer's music.
I listen to Wu-tang, Nas, AZ, Poor Righteous Teachers, Rakim.
But the one I like and respect the most is Mos Def. Because he's a Muslim and he represents true Islam.

however, i think Mos Def is the best example of a muslim rapper , not like these fakes doing booze commericials

Definately, Mos Def keeps it true, and is a great role model. Oh, and Cat Stevens. Cat Stevens rocks the mic.
King Tech Quadafi:
i must admit that while Im a huge admirer of Yusuf Islam and consider him a role model, i know nothing of his musical career :-[
