That's economics.  That's how those stores are for everything, including alcohol. 

Quick example, 20 pack of Bud Light- 11.99-14.99 at the local supermarket.  That same 20 pack in the liquor stores cost you 18.99-21.99
you say it like all liquor stores are the same though. yeah you got your little convenience stores that jack up the prices, but then youve also got your known cheap spots with winos hanging out all day

Well of course.  Same way you can find good deals in supermarkets too though.  Tell me why the hell would I drive around looking for a liquor store with good prices  when I can go to the local supermarket and get a good deal.

I know. The selection of beer is insane though. I'll pay a little extra for that.......too bad creepy ass old dudes like to shop there though.
