Not really his policies though are they, his cabinet is infested with banking parasites.
He is just a more smooth and intelligent version of George Bush, in that he is ultimately a figurehead.

ikke:
recession = 2 quarters of losses, I thought the Us was actually making profit again?

Either way, the recession is a self forfillign prophecy, people think there is a recession so they stop buying which causes a REAL recession

Matty:
it'll be what mainstream pundits and 'economists' call a double dip recession, with the second dip being extremely deep. truth is there was no recovery in the first place, obvious to a lot of people. gdp figures are all fluff and government spending. they just papered over the losses and hoped the inbalances would go away, postponing the correction. thing is the next bubble is the ultimate one - sovereign bond markets. when that goes bad then a lot of currencies are in trouble. serious cracks are already starting to appear in the UST auctions...

Unfortunately, I think you are 100% right.

You are right but it seems that a lot of people don't understand economic growth. For instance when the UK registered economic growth of 0.1%, that's actually a contraction in real terms and yet people were mentioning it as a positive sign.
