People bitch about West Coast artists not getting released, but Ruthless released three albums last year - Hopsin, Nashay, and Stevie Stone's shit. Is it just that no one cares, or did Ruthless not promote good enough for people to take notice?

Nashay is an R & B singer, and Stevie Stone is a rap act out of the mid west.

Same. Lol. The only reason I knew is because I am a fan of Hopsin.

Bought Nashay's single and Hopsin's full album.  I think part of the problem is lack of promotion though.  I wasn't even aware until you made this post that Nashay's full length album was even available yet.  I was aware that Stevie Stone's album was out, but I haven't checked it out yet.  I plan to though.  Ruthless has got to do something though to promote their artists better.  I'm glad they're finally releasing some albums, but I've seen next to no promotion.  The only reason I knew about Hopsin is because he promotes himself pretty well.  And regarding Stevie Stone's album, I was only made aware of that because my friends caught his set when he opened up for Tech N9ne on the K.O.D. tour.

Does anyone know if Ruthless' deal with Sony Music is just for the back catalog? The reason I ask is, they said all the artists were directly coming out via Sony's distribution but they all came out via RED Music which is a subsidiary.
