I was never certain if it was DJ Quik that was featured on the scratch saying "wooooord up!" on the Large Pro remix of Common's "Resurrection".  Anyone know the answer ???

Hmm, I would of thought the sample came straight of a track easy to link it with but I've never heard Quik say that "woooorddd up" before in that way.

But I got a question, do you know who says "I thought you were'nt drinkin no mo?" in Tonite? I swear it sounds like Eazy but they didn't meet that early in Q's career so it can't be. Maybe KK?

^nah. pretty sure it's KK because Quik mentions he is on the phone with him in the lyrics.
