as for Suga Free, i know im gonna take a lotta heat for this, but i have Street Gospel and The New Testament on the comp, and was never really blown away by either...i find his delivery and flow kinda hard to listen to sometimes  :-\

if its worthwhile checking them out again then maybe i'll give them another listen

agree, but street gospel is still a classic. its much more to do with the production than suga free.

The production is amazing, but if you took Suga Free off those tracks, the beats wouldn't be half as good. The chemistry between Quik and Free is legendary.

naaaaah, not saying suga free ruined it or anything, but if you took him off the beats the instrumentals are still incredible.

Free's got one of those deliveries that has its niche market of listeners. Like the other guy said before, he found it hard to listen to his flow. Chemistry at its best is the result of Street Gospel. Those Q beats are incomplete without Free flowing on em talkin that pimp game. GAAAH!!
