I don't remember them Quik tracks being national hits on that level? Only songs I recall of his that non-Quik fans know is "Put It On Me" with Dre and that Tony Toni Tone track, "Let's Get Down". Before that it's "Born and Raised in Compton".

1993
Cypress Hill - Insane In The Brain

1994
Warren G & Nate Dogg - Regulate

1995]
Luniz - I Got 5 On It

1993
Snoop Doggy Dogg - Gin N Juice

Just a couple of minor corrections. "Let Me Ride" was a single in 1993. "Doggy Dogg World" was a single in 1994.

Ya. I hear what Jimmy is saying though, but since it's Quik I was gonna include most of his singles because he was still very popular on both coasts. Props to both of you.

Ya I knew that some of them came out the year after those albums dropped but wasn't sure which ones. Props.

Good call +1. I'm not confining this list to gangsta rap, it's just the what the west is most associated with so if all I'm thinking about is Dre, Snoop, Quik etc those don't immediately pop into my mind. They definitely need to be put on the list though and will be included in my mixes. I wasn't purposely ignoring those names. That's why I made the list and asked for help, to cover all the bases. Sir Mix-A-Lot just popped into my head while typing this post for example.
