false, the last 2 years Lincy has been the best pitcher in baseball.

we all know CC is the best in the world
Lincy can't go 250 innings a year + dominate in the playoffs

i don't get the Phils, what was the point of Doc?
yeah, he's without a doubt five times better than Cliff Lee, but Lee beat us in the Playoffs anyway.
Doc can pitch a perfect game against us in the WS, it's still just a win; doesn't help them in games 2, 3 & unless he pitches it, game 4.
just seemed like an odd logic to me; if they could of kept both Lee & Doc, that would be intimidating.
white Boy:
well we, the fans, were all pretty pissed for them not keeping both, and despite all the excuses they gave, i still think we should have
but as far as the "swap",when i think it came down to, they didnt want to pay 20 a year to cliff lee (despite how dope Lee did last year, doc is overall a much better pitcher), and would have to pay close to it when they resigned him...
