If they were as civilized as us then they would probably start a war with us, the same way we start wars amongst ourselves. If they are more civilized than us then they would see us as a violent race fighting amongst ourselves and destroying our own planet, and chances are they wouldn't want us spreading to other parts of the universe

this is idiotic. animals are not even close to intelligent as human beings and an intelligent species is smart enough to realize that. Sure we have bad people on this planet but I really do think that a vast majority of people have good in there heart. Its just the malevolent minority of elite rule on this planet
