I can't believe how Poor Bones new album has sold...
« on: December 06, 2002, 05:34:37 AM »
That album is one of the better albums released this year, Bone come tight and mesh amazing together on this album and with tracks like "Home", "all the way" etc. How can u go wrong.

The albums no longer in the top 100 and i don't think its hit 300k yet.

thats some fucked up shit.

lol

and me i cant believe how Bone, my favorite group , left a poor album like this ...

i was so desappointed ... beats is like some neptune or timbaland shit, dancefloor shit , only 3 or 4 songs still in the Bone Thugz's style ... Bone is dead

I agree with what u saying, The album is too RnB and needed to be RAW imo. Had they added Flesh into the album by using his unreleased RES verses like they originaly said. Then this album would have been near classic.

Still though the album is way better than a good 85% of the hip hop albums released this year and should have sold way better.

As for what u said about the "Bone Thug Style" just wandering what do u consider the bone thugs style. Coz for me its harmonising over a fast flow. Which i think they did, what they didn't do often was go RAW.

right . Bone thugs style is fast flow, but back in the days there had their own musical identity too . and nowaday, they lost it ... as we say there is too much r'n'b beat or dancefloor beat; what about dark ambiance like "mo murda" or hardcore/raw vibe like "no surrender" ??

same "resurection" was a solid album , keepin the Bone thugs flavour , tight production by U-neek ,   straight double-time sing-song rhyme style , ...

with "thug world order", u know its the first time i'm disappointed wit Bone thugs ...  :'(

I feel you man, thats one of the reasons i love RESS coz it had its share of dark tracks and the murda stuff. Album was Raw and especially flesh, he ripped that album straight.

generaly bone have had a great balance of hardcore tracks and a few soft stuff. Ress is the best example, the album is straight RAW til about track 10. From then on its a mix of hard and soft tracks. I think the problem with TWO is that its a mellow album with the odd hards tracks thrown in.

Bone need to bring back the fast RAW shit and bloody add FLESH to the album in what ever way possible.

Ive given up on Bone at this point.........the album has no replay value whatsoever. I listened to it for the first week it was out, and ive hardly listened to it since. Its not a horrible album, but its pretty poor for them. The only "great" song was Home, the rest of the songs arent quite as good. And like I said the replay value is horrible. They always gonna be one of my fav groups, but Ive given up on them ever putting out another great album. Oh well, I still got Creepin, Eternal, and AOW.

This was always my favorite group and I started getting disappointed after Mo Thugs II was released, but I always kept the faith that they would come out with something strong.  This last album has proved to me that they are done.  Sorry to say...

Of course the production isn't that great first off.  There really aren't any dark tracks either.  Plus their flow is not what it used to be.  What happened to the Bone where I had to listen to one line 10 times to understand half of what they were saying?  They slow it down too much on Thug World Order.  And I'm not talking about harmonizing, I'm just talking about them rapping a normal pace, which is something they've faded into, instead of the tongue twisting rhymes.
