And if you took a quick look above, you'd see that they're still there.

Oh I see what you did there...

In that case...  How long do you guys think it will be before we see a new Nas solo album...

he's telling the media end of the year, december.

i figure it'll be probably by spring next year

but i always like nas releases in the winter

As We Enter
Strong Will Continue
Tribes At War
Patience

classic material that stands above the rest of the tracks.

I finally listened to this album... I gotta say that even though I skipped only one track I don't think this'll get many spins from me. There's too much Nas and too much Damian Marley on this album for me... if each song would have been a minute shorter this album would have been much better, I think. I'll give this a few more spins in the next days.

Standout song: Count Your Blessings

...and what's up with people saying Lil Wayne's verse was dope? Listen to his older shit before you talk crap like that, please.

favorite tracks as of now: "As We Enter", "Strong Will Continue", "Leaders", "Count Your Blessings", "Land Of Promise", and "My Generation"

EP - 40 minutes or under
LP - over 40 minutes

Only in hip hop will you find a sentence like "this album has too much Nas & Damian Marley" (whose album it is LOL)..Rock or contemporary music fans never complained when their artists were making 6-7 minute long songs  ::)

That didn't come out very clever :D This could have been a great EP, but an LP is too much.

no it is not . you are just being a hater as normal . you really most not like nas . ,the longer it is more bang for the buck. Lunatic is 100% right.  the album is suppose to have as much Nas & Damian Marley". it is  Nas & Damian Marley album . you sound stupid & like an hater. this is the problem today with hip hop fans , stop crying & be happy to get any music

After multiple spins, I'd say these are my final ratings...

1. As We Enter - 4.75/5 - So dope with Nas & Damian going back and forth..
2. Tribal War - 4.5/5 - Love the tribal drums on here to make this shit real official..

3. Strong Will Continue - 5/5 - Classic song..
4. Leaders - 4.5/5 - Really grown on me..Beat is fire and Stephen sounds tight on here..

5. Friends - 4.25/5 - Got a real cool vibe to it..Lovin' Damian on here..
6. Count Your Blessings - 4/5 - Beat is a little eyy but Nas/Damian save it..

7. Dispear - 3.75/5 - Worst track on here, but still not bad at all..
8. The Promised Land - 4.25/5 -  Lovin' the remake and Dennis Brown on it..

9. In His Own Words - 4.25/5 - Similar vibe to "Leaders"..
10. Nah Mean - 4.5/5 - Similar to the opening track in terms of being a "real rap based" track..

11. Patience - 3.5/5 Very laid back..Too long though, gets boring..
12. My Generation - 4.25/5 children/Joss Stone hook is actually fitting on here..Lil Wayne is great on here..Nas always shines on tracks like this..

13. Africa Must Wake Up - 4.75/5 - Love the whole vibe of this..2nd best track on the album..
