you can put music from your ipod to your computer, you just have to plug in the ipod and find the folder where its located. Apple tries to hide that from you, and the files are in a different order and renamed. But once you find the music and import it onto your computer you can import it into itunes and it will regenerate your music folder. Instead of me explaining everything you can just google an answer. Also, make sure itunes doesn't load while the ipod is in or it will try to reformat the ipod.

BUt it seems my 3 day old computer's usb portals don't work...

Going to take a long time to re-organize everything but atleast I have everything back.

before you import them into itunes make sure the "keep music folder organized" and the " copy music to itunes folder" boxes are checked. that way you wont have to do any sorting

It's copying from ipod to computer at a stunning speed of 1mb/s....
Where my 5 year old computer took 1 hour to copy, this new one is taking 17 goddamn hours.

Does that organize the folder? Artist-Album?
