Of course they would want to come into our house, people spend a lot if not most of their time in their homes. They would want to observe how we live.

They want to observe us hang shits, clip our toe nails, make love, cook food, and our thoughts and everything while we do all that.
The human condition and the human drama, the whole picture and everything spectrum of light and dark in between. Maybe they get off on that type of thing.

I've experienced sleep paralysis a few times. It is the most terrifying shit. The 1st time I had it was the day before 9/11. I woke up and couldn't breathe and was seeing darkl shadows moving all over the room. Another time, I awoke and there was an alien-like figure sitting at the foot of my bed with its back turned to me. I fought to try to push him off, lol, but couldn't raise my body too far off my bed. That "Nightmare" painting that was posted is pretty interesting. Apparently, people who have experienced sleep paralysis often see shit that is in their subconscious as their deepest fears. For instance, before aliens were the hot topic of the unknown, people in the past reported seeing images of demons in their bedrooms because that was the biggest subconscious fears back then. You're essentially "waking up" from a horrible nightmare and witnessing it going on around you. It happens during the deepest state of sleep (REM). Lots of scientific evidence for proof, but it's crazy what the human mind can conjure. On a side note, it is pretty ironic that my roomate at that time had a sleep paralysis experience a couple weeks later in the same apartment
