this is great, and if snoop is not apart of the west how many legit stars will we have to rep the coast? i mean he tried to get dre but y'all know how he is, i wouldn't call the album doggystyle 2 but i wouldn't mind him going bacc to that content in it's raw form yell

Thats what we're all saying genius. We would all love a dope album from Snoop but its probably not going to happen. He's abandoned his fanbase in hopes of getting the teeny boppers to buy his shit and neither side is happy (hints his last few albums beeing the lowest selling). So if he's not going to be able to produce great music that we all want to hear (more Last Meal / Top Dogg esque and less R&G / MIW ish) - then why taint the Doggystyle name with it?
i can ride with that,i just don't think he should need dre to be dope,or quik or none of them, but you equals here fo some reason think if only those people are on the album then it can be good, i just say give me the doggy style content with different producers it really ain't that hard to do yell

my fault to interject.  but about the content i see what you're saying but Snoop would definitely have to polish it up a little bit.  the producers i could see Snoop working well with on this project for what he's trying to attempt here is Dr. Dre & The HitMen.  Remember, records back then all had their own sound to it (mainly due to tha fact that it was produced by the same group of people all thru out tha album).  But other than them two Snoop really wouldn't need anybody else, it would just sound OuttaPlace, Corny, or Below the Above.
I guess they could throw some guest producers in to help with the sound, like Daz, Scoop DeVille maybe, Sam Sneed maybe, and Soopafly but other than that there really shouldn't be anybody else touching that album.  Not CrazyTunes, Not DJ Quik, Not Terrace Martin, Not Swizz Beatz (even when he's having his moment), Not Battlecat, Not Cold187um, Not Warren G, not anybody else.

I dont think Swizz Beatz is wack but him being Snoop Doggs new Pharrell aint exactly a good idea, they dont have that chemistry like that, like Game and Pharrell.  Its only probably cuz Swizz got married, now the locked down husbands gotta find sumthing to do lol.  Id go as far as a mixtape of nuthin but tha best cuts out that 18 and thats it.  Pressing that one up could go either way.  It could either be very great or very shitty.

Doggystyle East..

I think everyone would rather see Snoop work with Dre, Daz, Warren G, & Soopafly but Snoop rather follow the trends now rather than set them.

Leave the mastering to the experts and people who originally did it..

I would like to see Snoop just creating solid tracks. He is obviously capable of creating good tracks, but for every album he get's shittier and shittier.

Why would you like to see Snoop working with Warren G, Soopafly and Daz? IMO none of them has created something stellar in years.

My advice to Snoop would be: Get one or two NEW producers who got the hunger, the passion and the skills to create something awesome to handle the project. Remember when Doggystyle came out, the G-funk sound was FRESH, it's not fresh anymore. To create something unique and on the same level of originality of the first Doggystyle, you need some fresh input.
