Do you always come off like this??? You can't make a person do what is not in them. It's like telling Mitchy to do a conscious album or Mos Def to do gangsta rap. game is a top rapper and anyone who downplays his skills is just lyin to themselves.  you don't just sell millions of records in an era where people are bootleggin if you dont have skill.  there's no doubt the label push is a huge part of the hustle, the push gets you airplay but you gotta have the full package to put it together.  game dropped that "wouldnt get far" and pushed 'doctor's advocate' to millions.  just because an artist gets a push dont guarantee success look at bishop lamont and that shitty "grow up" single, interscope pushed that then they pulled it and shelved that garbage and shelved the whole album.  the artist wasnt packageable to the mainstream.  look at all these come & go rappers who had push at one point but no character, to name a few: shade shiest, bishop, sly boogy, lil rob, crooked i, knoc'turnal,etc. ---- game has mad appeal, he's emotional when he's live and he's heart-felt about his lyrics.  he gets into the live performance better than most and he's got charisma and character.  these "lyrical dynamical astronomical hypo-potimus" rappers have no charisma or character.  game is not just one of the top rappers, he's better than 90% of rappers today and he gets mad guest appearances all over the east and south artist because he's got mad appeal and talent.
