I can actually watch soccer during the world cup. I cant say I would watch every game, but certain matchups are interesting. I mostly like watchin some of the teams from South America, or even Africa. They seem more exciting. Watching the Germans for example...is like watching robots.

So did you actually watch Germany last week, or are you just dropping a cliché? It's widely acknowledged that Germany was the most attractive team of the first round... which is saying a lot, as nobody likes us.

I will be honest, I havent watched Germany this World Cup. Its what I have always seen from Germany...and they are usually the butt of that joke. You gotta remember, here in S.D. there are a lot of Brazilians...and they tend to make fun of teams like Germany. I never said they were a bad team. Just can be boring to watch at times.

lol the QB position is far more cerebral and I would say passing the football is harder. Considering the level of athletes who are defending the WR's the QB really typically only has inches for the ball to hit its target and be caught (where as in soccer you can pass to a teammate and they do not have to catch it...a lot of times you are simply leading them with the ball). Not to mention 250-300 lb beasts rushing in on him to crush him if they can. Oh, and they are typically well over 6 feet tall...meaning that a QB isnt simply throwing a football to another player. He is avoiding being tackled, standing behind an offensive line with defensive linemen with their hands in the air who are creating a wall blocking his vision, having to throw over the top of them or through a passing lane, with really only a few targets to throw to, and typically with about 3 second or so to make a decision.

Dont simply say that people dont understand soccer because they think its boring lol. Thats a pretty juvenile answer. Explain how it is SO complicated. Again, I can appreciate the sport. But dont make it something its not. You say others cant grasp the science behind soccer...but you cant even explain it lol

Honestly, I tried playing Soccer with my freinds & I wasn't that bad because I was just faster than everybody else on the field & I'm pretty athletic & have control of my body; it wasn't "difficult".

I tried QBing, it's easily the hardest thing to do & I play Football all the time lol.

I can almost guarentee that if you made every Soccer player try to QB & every QB try to play Soccer, the QB's would be decent Soccer players because it doesn't take a moron whose athletic to kick a ball; but the Soccer players couldn't throw a spiral more than five feet; fuck yards, FEET.

That sounds stupid. They are completely different sports and the athletes train their bodies according to their sports. Soccer players train their bodies for endurance...to be able to run for long periods of time. Football players train their bodies for shorter bursts at full speed, and a lot of strength training as well. Its like saying that a long distance runner is more athletic then a sprinter because a sprinter would get more winded running long distances. Retarded. Take the most athletic Soccer player you can think of (or any sport) and have them go Box. Even without getting his, they would be winded by round 3.

It's a bit unfair to call it a simple sport, especially in this era of tactics and game changing players that have come around the last decade.  You can really only tell during corner kicks of diagonal free kicks, but on a deeper level it takes being a fairly big fan to know what's up. NFL is full of strategy, because it's a series of set plays.  Imagine football where it's a series of corner kicks lol.

Comparatively speaking, boxing isnt that difficult, wrestling on the other hand will whoop any athletes ass. More and more football teams are incorporating MMA training during the offseason. You may not like the sport of MMA but the training thats involved is brutal.
