Wait, wait, wait...QuoteA "hit record" is a sound recording, usually in the form of a single or album, that sells a large number of copies or otherwise becomes broadly popular or well-known, through airplay, club play, inclusion in a film or stage play soundtrack, causing it to have "hit" (appeared on) one of the popular chart listings.Basically all it takes is sell a lot of copies."Crack-A-Bottle" was number one & it doesn't count because it's bad? What a joke of a thread then. Why don't we all just say his last "hit record" was "Still D.R.E." or "The Next Episode" because those are classics & we all love them?

Dre didn't even produce Bad Intentions.
It was motherfucking Crack A Bottle, just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's discounted retards.People are confusing a Hit Record with a Good Record. Soulja Boy's Crank Dat was a hit record, even if i was a piece of shit. It just shows the mainstream doesn't know shit about hip-hop or rap. As such hit records don't mean shit now.So it was Crack a Bottle. Because that literally was the last track he was a producer and a rapper that was a hit on the charts.

I can't beleive the topic starter suggested Still D.R.E was the last hit. Dre had at least another 2 hit singles off 2001 alone. Where have these people been?
