Yeah... Don't be surprised that I will eventually... but for right now.. just letting it all ride. I had some fun on my 30th birthday party, the first birthday I celebrated in 5 years, so it's all good. 30 is the new 20, but that's because the old 20 was nothing like the new 20. Maybe I'll explain that later.

In 5-10 years my life will be about half over, but then again I didn't get married until 2 years ago, we are having our first kid this year, and we bought our house last year and I got a job I can do for the next 30. Overall, life is good, and if it's half over, well I had 26 solid years of being single, so fuck it. Got the baby on the way, that's my life right now.

I guess I'll explain 30 being the new 20. When people hear that, they thing it's people trying to hold on to your 20's. Well actually if you think about it, before you did not need an education to get a job, so people were just either graduating high school, or dropping out at a certain age and then going into the work force. Many people lived in small towns and they married their high school sweet heart. By the time you were 20, you were married, either had a kid or working on a kid and working, trying to save money for a house. Now with the way the economy is, you need at least a high school education but a college education is critical. So now people wait to graduate college, they usually date in their 20's, have a good time go to 21+ clubs, and usually move to bigger cities. Eventually in their late 20's, they find someone, settle down, get married and have kids and save up for a house. So in that aspect, 30 is the new 20, and 20 is the new 16... lol.
