Lol why are artist so fuckin stupid and out of touch with their fan base? If Snoop locked himself in the studio with Dre and didn't come out till he was ready to record with Quik and Daz he could still pull off a million sales. But nooo, every album he just takes another step further from his true fans in hope of gaining some of Weezy / Drake / Gucci's fans. This niggas last album has a fuckin song with Souljaboy! I don't get it.

I don't think his "female followers" will appreciate an album made supposedly for them to be made up of nothing but dedications to Shante.
This might be the first time in Snoop's discography that he won't have even one good song on an album.

I was on the same page in 98 when this shit first dropped, but from 2010 perspective I'll say it's a great fuckin' album that shits on MIW and other bullshit releases..

According to a few snoop interviews, snoop said that hes not doin it for 'you', he just makes music however he want to and he have a hope for somebody to like this.. i remember there was some little 'conflict', when dubcnn interviewer said 'LAX' from TBCT is not that good as it should be (Snoop, Cube, Battlecat, come on), snoop answered that if u dont like it, then its not for you, others may like it.. so basicaly he dont care bout his fans

tbf i actually think he's entitled to do that. although it could be argued an artist isn't reaching his full potential, music is an art, therefore meant to be about expressing yourself, so an artist should be able to make the music they wanna. especially if the artist has already proven himself, like Snoop has

I agree with Pere -- BCT will go down in history as Snoop's last good album.  What's weird is that Snoop's sales have declined since he went soft after BCT, and he should realize that in order to start selling well again, he needs to go back to his roots -- but he's doing the opposite and getting softer and softer.  I guess he really doesn't care about sales anymore.  It's even weirder because Justin knows all of our opinions here and I assume he tells Snoop and his manager what our opinion is of this new "soft" direction that Snoop has chosen to go down, but Snoop doesn't care.  Therefore, if Snoop doesn't care about us, his core fanbase, why should we care about him?  I'm not going to by an album of his that I don't like just because I'm a Snoop fan.  It has to be a good album.  As long as Snoop keeps making crappy albums, none of us here is going to buy his new albums.  But he just doesn't care about that, which is what really blows my mind.  That he really doesn't care what we think.  RIP Snoop Doggy Dogg
