nice for him to be straight about the release date, everyone knows its jimmy than has the final say. if you read between the lines it sounds like the label could still can it altogether. he says its gonna be incredible but i'm dubious, could end up being very similar to LAX. makes it sound like dr. dre has a lot of input on the album, yet they don't have a good enough cross-over single to run with. that doesn't add up, you would expect dre to have given him something to fit that criteria, given he produced by far the biggest single of his career - 'how we do'. westside story also got him a lot of initial buzz for the doc.

yeah but that was shortly after that picture was released
I swear on my kids that this is the most incredible album that I’ve ever done in my life
I think I should stop saying when the album is gonna be released and just say “when it’s released, just pick it up,” man
My last album did like 270,000 the first week and it really had no buzz and it wasn’t pushed and we just threw it out. And “My Life” is what carried it over to platinum. I don’t want that to happen with this album. I think that if I threw my album out tomorrow, I got 300,000 fans that’ll go get my album first week. And that’s not shabby during this day and age. But I really wanna push for gold and try to top The Documentary’s numbers.

@30 secs he's clearly not talking about the documentary since this is from July 3rd 2010"and inbetween (detox) theres been artists like game and 50 that i had to stop and work with. Not stop as in handing him a beat or two but actually being in the lab working on the albumQuote from: From Dre-Day to Helter Skelter on August 07, 2010, 06:03:19 AMQuote from: friscoliving on August 06, 2010, 05:32:52 PMQuote from: From Dre-Day to Helter Skelter on August 06, 2010, 08:06:37 AMyeah but that was shortly after that picture was releasedwhat's your point?no mention of RED

yea but he was talking about a recent time span of the delays not as far back as 05, dre worked on before i self destruct so I'd say it is a forsure Dre is talking about RED after all u can't deny that game and dre haven't been in the lab with the thousands of twit pics. So i'm sure game got his fair share of Dre joints this time around. Dre is narrorating one of the records on the album "dead people" thats the one complex reviewed and said it sounds like "im supposed to die tonight" the 50 song..Quote from: From Dre-Day to Helter Skelter on August 08, 2010, 12:14:28 PMQuote from: friscoliving on August 07, 2010, 11:45:15 AM@30 secs he's clearly not talking about the documentary since this is from July 3rd 2010"and inbetween (detox) theres been artists like game and 50 that i had to stop and work with. Besides wasn't it started in a Later interview Game doesn't know what Dres involvement is? This 1 is like a month old.
