« on: August 08, 2010, 06:28:43 PM »
Hey is anyone a fan of Canibus here?

if so which of his albums do you listen to or like the most

at the moment I been bumping "For whom the beat tolls" a fair bit its pretty dope an gets better on repeated listens when u begin to understand the huge words in the rhymes lol, first time i was jus like what the fuck is this guy talking about!

I just ordered "melatonin magik" I'm looking forward to gettin' that, peeped the video off that album think it was to a song "only slaves dream" the song was nice but the video was incredibly wack canibus looked like a dickhead in it, peep it an you'll know what i mean lol

anyways so what albums of his are you listenin' to an likin?, any of his recent ones???

For me I would say Rip The Jacker. A couple duds here and there but overall I dig a good portion of his albums.

I haven't heard any of his albums but I'm left mind blown every time I hear some of his guest appearances (the lost boyz songs, music makes me high, 4321...)

Rip the Jacker and 2000 BC are worth listening to, Rip is probably his best work.

Rip The Jacker is without doubt his best work. He should have done more "One Producer" albums, or even just done more work with Stoupe as their sounds fit well.

For Whom The Beat Tolls was great too but unfortunately a lot of his work seems to be quantity over quality. He's a great emcee who just doesn't bring his "A" game all the time.

The Mic Club: The Curriculum album I always thought was pretty clever. Lots of good rhymes, and a Kool G guest appearance, not bad.

I'm still stuck on his first two albums, Can-I-Bus and 2000 B.C.    After Canibus made the C-true Hollywood Stories/Eminem spoof album i was never able to get back into him.  But I still always loved his first two albums from the moment they were released up until now!

Even his last album was alright its just a lack of people giving a shit/no replay value in 2010 for the guy...

I've been listening to 2000 B.C. allot lately, but Rip the Jacker is his best.

Does anybody have any new info on Rip The Jacker Infinity?

mic club and 2000 BC are the best easily

rip the jacker was a remix album (as in the guy producing it used acapellas for each track) - that kinda takes away from it

This guy aint no crip, and I'm 100% sure on that because he doesn't type like a crip, I know crips, and that fool is not a crip.
