It's the market restructuring itself, you have to accept that.   If there are people out there who are willing to do an equal job for less money then it's only a matter of time before they will gain the job over you.  This is just the way the world works.

Still I have sympathy for you that you lost your job.  It will take you a little time now to adjust to the market and find where you are most valuable, but eventually you will find your place.
