I mean, it's possible that he just didn't know better. I doubt he would intentionally fuck that up to save a couple hundred dollars. Either way I would like to know if the reels are still out there and if there are any unreleased tracks in his possession. I don't know much about Sheppard Lane/Laneway Records and it would be interesting to hear some detail or stories.

A while back, I remember Quik mentioning in an interview that he had some unreleased Mausberg tracks in a vault, but he explicitly stated that he never would release them.  Ever.

rerelease of non fiction would be cool.. remastered and mixed right.. maybe a few unreleased tracks or remixes if there arent any.....quik should try and get the masters back.. get some goons to rob em
