Talib Kweli Readies New Independent Album, "Gutter Rainbows"

The BK emcee announces new independent album, "Gutter Rainbows," saying it will be "available sooner than you think."

Talib Kweli is putting the finishing touches on a new album, Gutter Rainbows. Interestingly, this album will be an independent release, one that will be self-financed. He also added that it would "exist outside of the music industry." He went on to add that it would be made available to fans soon, a message sent to fans via Twitter.

Gutter Rainbows, a title inspired by J.D. Salinger's famed novel, Catcher in the Rye, will feature production from Hi-Tek, Ski Beatz, E Jones and others.

Hopefully it will be better that the RE album. A huge letdown for the length of time that I was waiting for it.
