M Dogg™:
LeBron's style of play does not age well, that's the thing about him. He plays the game like a 22 year old rookie. The question in the next 2-4 years will be, can he adjust. At his pace, he will pass Kobe eventually and he should be #2 in overall points. But with his game, and potential for injury playing his style, that is the question. He could be like Vince Carter in that they were very physical, and that led to many injuries for Carter in his later career. Kobe is 100 points aways from Kareem, which he should pass if the Lakers make the playoffs. We shall see.

No joke I can see Lebron retire around 35-36 while Kobe could play til he 40+

Lebron is dependent on physical attributes, Kobe is all footwork, fundamentals, and shooters stay shooters. There won't be a huge gap between their retirements.
