No team in the history of the NBA could have easily handled the 01 Lakers when they meant business. Shaq was in videogame mode back then.
As for Iverson, he also had Carmelo Anthony and Marcus Camby and didn't do shit when he was in Denver, while actually making the Pistons and Grizzlies worse.
The 2001 Sixers also had Dikembe Mutombo who was a real ass nigga back then, much better than McKie or Snow.

As for Denver, not only was A.I. past prime, but his style of play is "give me the ball & I'll do things with them". He didn't have that with Melo on the floor with him. Similar to Rose, in my opinion. Rose just has more pieces around him & even his team as a whole isn't all that great.
Also, Rose is 10-12 years younger than the A.I. we're talking about in Turkey or anything post 76er.
D-Nice:
AI was a beast in his heyday. He could get that Philly team to win off sheer willpower. He wanted it more than his opponents and his teammates most of the time. That was a gift and later a curse in his career but you could not help but root for the guy. Rose's demeanor is more laid back but if he ever developed a controlled rage, watch out.
